Sea birds are really worthwhile fun. The list of species that may be hunted legally in Iceland is extensive and Iceland is often the only place where hunters can add to their collection.

The distance from the capital to the hunting areas on the country’s largest bay is relatively short. Specially when well equipped boats are used.

The season for most of the sea birds runs from September 1st to April 25th and the best time for beautiful plumage for mounting is during January to April.
