Goose And Duck Hunting
Goose hunting in Iceland is a unique hunting experience. Hunting a wild goose in a spectacular and beautiful Icelandic environment is challenge for every hunter.
There are 5 different species of geese in Iceland: Greylag goose, Pink foot goose, Barnacle goose, White fronted goose and Brent goose. Three species can be hunted. The White fronted and Brent goose are protected.
Goose and duck hunting takes place on some of the best private properties in south Iceland. The hunting areas are variable, hunting in grass, cornfield also by lakes and rivers. The hunters are accompanied by a guide the whole time and he picks the hunting areas and takes care of lining up decoys.

Day 1: Welcoming by guide at Keflavík airport, after 2 hours drive our guests arrive in the afternoon at our accommodation near Hella. After rich meal it is time to plan the next morning hunt with the guide and choose appropriate shotguns and ammunition.
Day 2: The day begins with an early breakfast before you are transferred to the hunting location with the guide before sunrise. Goose hunting until lunch time. After lunch it is time to relax for a while. The afternoon/evening goose and duck hunt is followed by a dinner.
Day 3: After a morning goose hunt and lunch there is time for relaxation and optional activities.
Day 4: After an early morning goose hunt and some photographs of the total hunt it is time to pack and the journey home begins.
