Seabird Hunting
Grímsey is a true paradise for the both the nature lover as well as the hunter. Along the steep cliffs of the island both Common and Brünnich’s Guillemots breed in large numbers together with Black-legged Kittiwakes and Fulmars. The Hunt

Day 1: Welcoming by guide at Akueyri airport. After after 3 hours sail our guests arrive in the afternoon at our accommodation in Grímsey. After rich meal it is time to plan the next morning hunt with the guide and choose appropriate shotguns and ammunition.
Day 2, 3 and 4: The day begins with an early breakfast before you we sail out from the harbor. We usually hunt for 4-5 hours a day, while conditions allow. hunting until lunch time. After a good day on the sea we head back to shore where we can either skin the birds for the collectors or go straight back to out hotel for an relaxing afternoon.
Day 5: After an morning hunt and some photographs of the total hunt it is time to pack and the journey home begins.
